Strenuous Trail that Starts at Black Mountain Campground at the foot of Mt. Mitchell (Located off of Highway 80 S.) and ends at Mount Mitchell State Park. <br />
The trail climbs from 3200 with in the 5.6 miles and offers amazing views.
Black Mountain Campground: Park outside the front gate on the left. the Trail starts about a mile into the campground follow signs to trailhead. <br /><br /><br /><br />Mt. Mitchell State Park: The trail enters at the Balsam Nature Trail and the General Parking lot bellow the summit.
